Terms of use
1. Who we are and acceptance
These terms govern the relationship between you and GRACEFOLD TECH LTDA, a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ 69.276.507/0001-79, with registered office at SAUS Quadra 4, Bloco A, s/n, Sala 513 Parte 1002, Plano Piloto, Brasília/DF, CEP 70070-938, Brasil ("Gracefold"). By using the website or installing and using one of our apps, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the app.
Each app may have specific terms, published on the app's website (Efatah: efatah.app/terms/). They supplement these terms and prevail on matters specific to the app.
2. App license
Gracefold grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the apps on devices you control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, under the rules of the store where you obtained the app (Apple App Store or Google Play). The app, its code, design, texts, images, audio and other content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights of Gracefold or third-party licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer or extract the apps' content, except where expressly permitted by law.
3. Account and age
Gracefold apps do not require an account. If an app offers an account to save progress, it is optional, created with your Apple or Google account, and can be deleted inside the app itself. Minors under 18 may use the apps under the responsibility of their parents or guardians, subject to the age rating shown on the store.
4. In-app purchases
If an app offers purchases or subscriptions, they are processed by Apple or Google, at the prices and conditions shown on the store at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the store; uninstalling the app or deleting the account does not cancel them. Refunds follow the store's rules. Under Brazilian consumer law (CDC, art. 49), you may withdraw from a distance purchase within seven days by contacting support or the store. Details are in each app's terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website or the apps to:
- break the law or infringe third-party rights;
- attempt to access Gracefold systems, servers or content without authorization, or overload them;
- download or extract content by automated means (bots, scripts, scraping), or use it to train artificial intelligence models;
- redistribute the apps' content, including lesson packs, images and audio, outside the app;
- remove copyright or ownership notices.
6. Educational and devotional content
The apps' content is educational. Biblical texts, translations, examples and reflections are offered as language-learning material and do not replace guidance from teachers, educational institutions or religious communities. Nor do they replace psychological, medical or legal advice. Gracefold tries to keep the content accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee it is free of errors.
7. Availability, updates and discontinuation
The apps may receive updates that change or remove features. Part of the content depends on downloads over the internet; Gracefold may suspend the service temporarily for maintenance. If an app is discontinued, Gracefold will give reasonable notice on the store or in the app.
8. Warranties and liability
The apps and the website are provided free of charge or at the price shown on the store, as is. Gracefold is liable for defects under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and does not exclude or limit any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Beyond that, Gracefold is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the website or the apps, nor for failures of third-party services (stores, internet providers, device manufacturers).
9. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy and, for Efatah, in the app's policy at efatah.app.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms to reflect changes to the apps, the website or the law. The current version, with number and date, is on this page. Relevant changes will be announced with reasonable notice. Continuing to use the website or the apps after the effective date means you accept the new version.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Brasília/DF have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring claims in the courts of their own domicile.
